Jubilee

So I'm gutted I won't be in the country for our Queen's Jubilee! Will be in France on Holiday so can't complain too much, but my elaborate plan of whipping together a tea-party along a main road in front of my parent's hotel is well and truly out of the window!!!Hmmmpppppppphhhhhhhh!!!
For that reason alone, I'm still having these to celebrate for ol Liz!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEITH HARING!

 On this day 4th May 1958 in Reading, Pennsylvania the man to become an iconic graffiti underground artist to hung out with the prime of the art world and celebrity world was born. Keith Haring's work was the epitome of street culture throughout the 80's in NYC, it adorned the underground stations & blank canvases of the streets of the big apple. His work had in-depth & socialist links twined within.
It was 16th February 1990 Keith Haring died from AIDS related complications at the very young age of 31.

Countdown!

So the countdown has begun! Christmas & New Year have flown by, ( its safe to say I have alot of resolutions but didn't pig out too much so one less than everyone else! ), the time has now come to go to Amsterdam! WOOPWOOP!

Slight bee in the bonnet to hope it will be how I've heard it goes in the winter over there, never thought I'd wish for weather to be colder but I want to be skating the frozen canals not sailing down them! I'll keep dreaming...
